









Residence Halls
Clarkson is more than just a place to go to school. Apart from the excellent formal classroom education, you will begin to make new friends and embark upon a new lifestyle spending a considerable amount of time getting involved in various activities. Clarkson University housing accommodates students with community building programs and well-equipped facilities. Each of the resdience halls are outlined below.
Cubley, Reynolds, Ross, Brooks (Quad)

These four residence halls connect in an "H" formation is sometimes
referred to as the Quad. They are also referred to by students
in a larger sense as Cubley-Reynolds and Ross-Brooks. Each
hall has three floors (one RA per floor) with 25 rooms per floor;
where each room accommodates two people or 50 students per floor
(first-year and upperclass). The bathrooms are located at either
end of the floor and each has its own lounge with comfortable
seating, a microwave, and a TV. Each room in the Quad is a carpeted
15'10" x 11'8" living space with basic furnishings
including: lofted bed, desk, built-in chest, window drapes,
and closet.
Student Administrative Services (SAS), laundry service, the Empire Diner, and the Ross-Brooks Cafe are located in the center "core" of the Quad. Both the Empire Diner and Ross-Brooks Cafe have TVs and the Empire Diner serves as a lounge during the evenings and on the weekend.
Hamlin-Powers

This complex houses 50 students per floor (first-year and upperclass),
three floors per building (one RA per floor), with double occupancy
rooms. Each room in the Hamlin-Powers complex is a carpeted
16' x 11'18" living space with basic furnishings including:
lofted bed, desk, chest and closet. The bathrooms are located
at various places on each floor.
In addition, in the center "core" there is a game room and lounge, a multipurpose classroom, and the Student Health Center is located here. In the basement, there are laundry services and space devoted to the home of Clarkson's Radio Station - WTSC 91.1 FM - The Source.
Moore House

This hall houses about 150 students (mostly upperclass) and
has rooms set up as suites (two bedrooms with a private bathroom
between accommodating two students per bedroom, four per suite).
Each room in Moore House is a carpeted 11'8" x 18' living
space with basic furnishings including: bed, desk, chest and
closet.
Beyond this, Moore House is home to "Venture@Moore House", a dynamic residence hall learning community for outstadning second-year students in parternship with the School of Business. There is also a lounge in the center "core" and a TV game room, as well as laundry services in the basement.
Graham Hall

The hall consists of four seperate wings: Wilson, VanNote, Donahue
and Olson. Each wing houses 60 students (mostly upperclass),
20 per floor (one RA per wing) and has rooms set up as suites
(two bedrooms with a private bathroom between accommodating
two students per bedroom, four per suite). Each room in Graham
Hall is a carpeted 12' x 14' living space with basic furnishings
including: bed, desk, chest and closet. In addition, each floor
has its own common lounge.
In the center "core" there is a large lounge and common use area. Laundry services and Clarkson's Television Station - WCKN are located in the basement.
Price Hall

The hall consists of four seperate wings: Farrisee (used by
The Clarkson School),
Newell, Ormsby, and Thomas. Each wing houses 60 students (mostly
upperclass), 20 per floor (one RA per wing) and has rooms set
up as suites (two bedrooms with a private bathroom between accommodating
two students per bedroom, four per suite). Each room in Price
Hall is a carpeted 12' x 14' living space with basic furnishings
including: bed, desk, chest and closet. In addition, each floor
has its own common lounge. Laundry service is located in the
center "core."
Woodstock

Located near the Science Center, there are 10 apartment buildings
of 10 units each. Woodstock Village includes fully carpeted
efficiency units and one- and two-bedroom units each with a
study room, kitchen and bathroom accommodating two-to-four students.
Students are responsible for providing their own kitchenware,
cookware and linens. Each apartment includes the basic furnishings:
bed, desk, built-in wardrobe, chest, refrigerator, stove, and
living and dining room furniture.
No apartment personalization (painting, lofts, structural changes, etc.) is permitted; including waterbeds. Woodstock Village has three laundry rooms located through the apartment complex and houses upperclass students.
Riverside
Apartments (Map)
Located across from the entrance to B.H. Snell Hall, there are
24 fully carpeted apartments with 12 two-bedroom and 12 three-bedroom
units each with a study room, kitchen, living room, and bathroom.
Students are responsible for providing their own kitchenware,
cookware and linens. Each apartment includes the basic furnishings:
bed, desk, chest, closet, refrigerator, stove and living and
dining room furniture.
No apartment personalization (painting, lofts, structural changes, etc.) is permitted; including waterbeds. The Riverside Apartments house upperclass students.

Located near the Schuler Educational Resource Center, there
are 52 two-bedroom units that house four students per unit with
a study room, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. Students are
responsible for providing their own kitchenware, cookware and
linens. Each apartment includes the basic furnishings: bed,
desk, built-in wardrobe, chest, refrigerator, stove, and living
and dining room furniture.
No apartment personalization (painting, lofts, structural changes, etc.) is permitted; including waterbeds. The Townhouse Apartments have a common centralized laundry room and house upperclass students.
