MTS 809 Axial-Torsional Test System
The MTS 809 Test System housed in the laboratory features a 319.10 load
unit with independent axial and torsional actuation capabilities. Some features of this system are:
- 22 kip axial actuation capacity
- 10000 lbf*in torsional actuation capacity
- 6.6" static stroke, 6" dynamic stroke
- Open and closed-loop control capabilities
- Hydraulic Collet Grips
- 45.5" maximum specimen/grip clearance
- 22kip/10000lbf*in load cell as well as 2.2kip/1000lbf*in load cell
