Medical diagnosis and treatment couldn't be done without it. Industry is begging for more good software engineers. Clarkson's Software Engineering program spans the boundaries of other science and engineering programs to provide a rigorous, professional preparation for your career.
At Clarkson, we combine the expertise, knowledge and experience of faculty from both the Computer Engineering and the Computer Science Departments. You will work with experts on the application of theory, as well as those who know and understand the software process. As a software engineering student, you will participate in a major design experience in your senior year, gaining valuable experience in teamwork and real-world learning. You also have the opportunity to sharpen participate in one of 16 SPEED teams (Student Projects for Engineering Experience), providing skills in creative problem solving, collaboration, communication and leadership.
