Biomolecular Engineering Concentration

Bio-sensors, air pollution monitoring, biodiesel fuels — these topics are all in the news and require attention from professionals willing to span the boundaries of various professions. Biomedical engineers apply the technical training of a chemical engineer and add a special expertise in biology. The result is someone much in demand by various industries and agencies, including pharmaceuticals, food processing, consumer products, biomedical devices, and a wide range of homeland security issues.

In addition to this undergraduate program, Clarkson also offers graduate degrees in chemical engineering.

At Clarkson, you will earn at fully accredited degree in chemical engineering, while taking courses in biochemical engineering, biochemistry and biology. Clarkson's chemical engineering program has a history of graduates who pursue medical degrees or graduate degrees in biomedical engineering.
