Blackboard
Blackboard is software that allows faculty members to easily place course materials on line. It also allows for faculty-student and student-student interactions through e-mail, discussion boards, file exchange, and chat rooms. Faculty may also choose to place their grade books online allowing students to check their course progress via the web.
