Volunteering

Reaching Beyond Yourself
There's no doubt about it. Volunteering in community service is one of the most fulfilling opportunities you'll find at Clarkson. By reaching out and offering your energy, talent and compassion, you can make a real difference in people's lives.

That's why service is a core value of Clarkson: not only because it's good for the community, but also because it's good and personally important for our students. Service helps develop a sense of social responsibility and civic pride. By helping others in need, your participation in volunteer experiences will lead to the betterment of the larger community while enriching your own life.

Check out the Volunteer Opportunities Board on the first floor in Cheel Campus Center.  Choose an agency you would like to volunteer for, and then take one of the detailed information cards with contact numbers and a description of the group’s needs for help.
For further assistance contact the Office of Co-Curricular Education and Learning on the second floor of Cheel.

Administered by the Office of Co-Curricular Programs and Service Learning, on the second floor of Price Hall. A referral guide in the office contains agency or group names, contact information, and opportunities. For more information contact Director Randy Lamson at 315-268-6680 or e-mail her at randy@clarkson.edu.
