The Extra in Extracurricular
Your involvement in clubs and organizations
at Clarkson will take you as far as you wish to go. Whether you're merely
looking for a little distraction or madly pursuing a personal passion, you can
find what you want here — along
with the freedom to create something entirely new. Call that your Clarkson
extra in
extracurricular.
No doubt about it, students like the flexibility and freedom of the Clarkson social environment. But even more, they appreciate the choice of opportunities when you've got more than 60 highly active student-run interest groups. And, when all is said and done, they'll also tell you that some of their best college lessons in teamwork, communication, management and leadership have come out of these extracurricular experiences.
Do you love the outdoors? The Outing Club is the biggest on campus and offers all kinds of things to do, from exploring caves to paddling kayaks to hiking in the mountains. Are you a musician? Join the jazz band, pep band or orchestra. Want to try your hand as a DJ or appear on campus TV? Learn personal defense through Tae Kwon Do. How about stirring things up on the campus newspaper or taking your camera skills to the next level with the Photo Club? It's your call at Clarkson.
