Q. What is The Clarkson Fund?
A. Clarkson's annual fund. All gifts to the Clarkson Fund
from alumni, parents and friends support Clarkson's Strategic
Investment Fund - strategic initiatives which enhance people
and programs across campus.
Q. What is The Clarkson Fund's "Fund
Year"?
A. Clarkson University and The Clarkson Fund operate on a
July 1-June 30 fiscal year. To receive gift credit for the
2004-2005 fund year, all personal gifts and matching gifts
must be received by June 30, 2005, to be counted in your total
giving for the 2004-2005 fund year.
Q. May I make my gift using my credit
card?
A. Yes! Clarkson offers the option of making your gift with
your Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. Credit card gifts
may also be made online.
Q. How do I make a stock gift to Clarkson?
A. Making a gift of stock is easy, and it may save the tax
on your capital gain. See

Q. How does my company match my gift
to Clarkson?
A. Contact your Human Resources Office for the proper form
or procedure for requesting a match for your gift to Clarkson.

Q. Is my matching gift amount added
to my personal gift amount?
A. Yes. You will receive full credit for all gifts received
from you, your matching gift company, and your spouse's employer
during the fund year.

Campaign for Clarkson, does
Clarkson really need my support?
A. Generous philanthropic support from alumni, parents, friends
and corporate and foundation partners remains vital to the
successful operation of our University. There are a myriad
of strategic initiatives which The Clarkson Fund now supports
through The Strategic Investment Fund.
