the tradition of “giving-back” began over a century
ago, Clarkson alumni, parents and friends continue to rally
for the place they call their own. The place they equate with
excellence in education. The place where intelligence is fueled
and dreams take flight.
While the tradition is long-standing, there seems to
be a misperception among some Clarksonians – that in
order to give, one must give a substantial donation.
Nothing could be further from the truth.

Gift Clubs
Clarkson offers a variety of honors and recognitions for varying
contribution amounts.
If you work for one of over 1,000 companies that match gifts
to institutions of higher education, your gift can make an
even bigger difference at Clarkson. Matching gifts can double
or even triple the value of your gift!
The North Country Friends of Clarkson University have made
a difference in the lives of local students for over 20 years,
providing support to a variety of needs including scholarships,
athletics and student research projects.
The Parents Fund plays an important role in helping to ensure
a quality experience for all Clarkson students. Each year,
parents of Clarkson students - and parents of students who
have graduated from Clarkson - support a project that addresses
an important need on campus. Examples of past Parents Fund
projects include the Parents Association Lounge in the Cheel
Campus Center and the Adirondack Lodge.
Key to the success of The Clarkson Fund is the annual student
phonathon. The phonathon center, located in Woodstock Lodge,
comes alive Sunday-Wednesday evenings in the fall and spring
with the energy and excitement of Clarkson students.
Gifts made through a Class Reunion effort help students achieve
their passion for a solid education through Clarkson and keep
the University highly competitive and nationally recognized.
Because many alumni increase their personal giving during
a Reunion year, total gifts from Reunion classes make a significant
difference for all Clarkson students.
The Senior Gift program is a tradition that allows each graduating
class the opportunity to give something back to the students
at Clarkson. Representatives from the senior class select
a project and implement a fund-raising campaign to enhance
the education of future students.
Great things are happening at Clarkson! Keep your Clarkson
connections strong by getting involved and help keep Clarkson
