Proceedings

The Proceedings of this Workshop will be published in IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology, see http://www.ieee.org/products/nanotechnology/. All the participants are encouraged to submit their manuscripts before the start of the Workshop, following the standard online procedure of the journal, described at http://tnano-ieee.manuscriptcentral.com/ (free registration will be needed for first-time authors).

In the Author Comments section, the authors should indicate that the article is submitted as part of their participation in the 2004 IEEE NTC Quantum Device Technology Workshop. In the manuscript, please indicate by a footnote "Based on work presented at the 2004 IEEE NTC Quantum Device Technology Workshop".

While the articles are expected to have a review component and, for presenting authors, be related to their talks or posters at the Workshop, they will be judged by the strict refereeing criteria of the Transactions, which is the flagship journal of IEEE in the field of Nanotechnology. Therefore, they should report substantial research results. At least one author of each submitted paper should be a Workshop attendee.
