








Workshops and Seminars
The Counseling Center is an integral part of Resident Assistant / Resident Director Training and offer seminars in Intro to Counseling; Psychological Emergencies; and Alcohol / Sexual Assault.
The Counseling Center is home of the First-Year Seminar, a required course that helps first-year students transition into the independence of college life and become acquainted with all the facilities and services offered by the University. In addition, to providing training to Peer Educators / Master Peers, the Center provides seminars in Alcohol and Drugs, Wellness, and Sexuality to first year students.
The Counseling Center also offers workshops and seminars for various groups and organizations. These programs address the personal needs of students, present information on important topics and provide opportunities for growth. Talk to a counselor if you would like to schedule a presentation for your group. If you are a student interested in wellness education, call our office and ask how you can become a peer educator.
