11 May: This course will have some overlap with MA570--Fundamentals
of Scientific Computation (to be taught by Professor Navasca). If your
interest is mainly in applications rather than the underlying mathematical
theory (and proofs)--or if you've never done any computational
mathematics--you might want to consider that course instead.
