79th ACS Colloid and Surface Science Symposium NANOPARTICLES, COLLOIDS AND INTERFACES IN THE ENVIRONMENT Colloidal
particles and solid interfaces are ubiquitous in aquatic environments.
Interfacial and colloidal processes and reactions at solid-solution
interfaces are of fundamental importance in engineered and natural aquatic
systems. Subjects of interests to our symposium include any environmentally
relevant topic involving nanoparticles, colloids, and surfaces in aquatic
systems. Examples include stability and aggregation of aquatic particles;
manipulation of nanoparticles for remediation; natural organic matter
in engineered and natural and aquatic systems; colloid deposition, detachment,
and transport; colloid-facilitated transport of contaminants; microbial
transport and adhesion; membrane separation processes; characterization
and analysis of colloids and interfaces; particle removal processes;
and reactions at the solid-water interface.
Please be sure that your full presentation is in PowerPoint for use with either a laptop or LCD projector. We will have laptops and LCD projectors available for your use in each session room
