One-Year MBA - Business Concepts Program

Clarkson University’s Business Concepts Program ensures that the incoming class begins the MBA program with a common knowledge base regardless of their undergraduate major. The Business Concepts courses have been designed to emphasize/cover key business concepts required for our nine-month MBA program.

The summer Business Concepts courses provide:

  • An ability to complete the MBA program within one year for those with a non-business undergraduate major
  • An opportunity to fulfill the business foundation prerequisites of the MBA program
  • An opportunity to strengthen one’s background in various business disciplines

The Business Concepts courses are open to those who have been accepted into the MBA program and have earned a bachelor’s degree. After careful review of an undergraduate transcript(s), students will be notified of business courses they need to complete prior to the MBA program. Other options to complete the business foundation courses may also be pursued.
