Clarkson Pride in Afghanistan!
The Clarkson colors have flown with pride thanks to Jonathon
Dilmore '97 who is currently stationed in Afghanistan. The
flag has been raised twice since its arrival - December 13,
2004 and December 23 to 28, 2004! We are all so proud of Jonathon.

Annual Alumni-to-Student Networking Panels!
As the Fall 2004 Semester comes to a close, the Career Center
and Alumni Office were busy connecting Alumni and Students
in 7 regional areas. Alumni-to-Student Networking Panels were
held in Albany, Syracuse, Boston, Burlington, Rochester, North
County and Buffalo.

UNH Post-Game Event - December 3, 2004!
A group of alumni supported the Clarkson Golden Knights on
Friday, December 3, 2004 at their away UNH game. The team
met up with local alumni and their families at a post-game
event.

Clarkson Alumni Panel During Open House!
The Clarkson Alumni Council held its meetings on-campus during
the weekend of October 1 & 2, which was also the University
Open House for prospective students. Five Alumni sat on a
panel to share their Clarkson experiences with prospective
students.

A New York State of Mind!
Associate Vice President of Alumni & Parent Relations,
Steve Newkofsky traveled to the Big Apple to meet with a group
of Alumni in an effort to expand the Alumni Admission Program.

Clarkson Alumni Take Part in the Reach The Beach Relay!
The Reach the Beach is a 208 mile adventure relay race that
begins in New Hampshire's White Mountain's and finishes at
Hampton Beach State Park. Among the teams were several Clarkson
graduates including Amy Lane '01, Matt Vogel '03, Steve Kuhn
'02, Kate Grinnell '99,
Brian Glanville '00, and Alissa Glanville '99.

Hey Ya'll ... Clarkson Hits Texas!
Associate Vice President, Steve Newkofsky and the Director
of Admission for the Clarkson School, Chad Tessier traveled
south to meet with Alumni in several areas across Texas during
the first week of September.

Clarkson Alumni from the Honors Program return for Orientation!
A handful of Clarkson Alumni returned during the 2004 Orientation
week to help Professor David Craig with the transition for

Race Track on Friday, August 6 to enjoy a Day at the Races!

Clarkson and IBM Team up for a Baseball Game!
Close to 100 alumni, guests and family who work at IBM in
Hudson Valley gathered at a Renegades game on August 13, 2004!
The game was eventually called off due to rain, but it didn't
stop the guests from having a good time.

Several friendships have been made as a result of the Annual
Clarkson/RPI telecast throughout the entire country. A handful
of Rhode Island alumni gathered to reconnect earlier this

Each August the Alumni Office organizes Freshman "Send-Off"
Picnics for students headed to campus for the fall semester
from regional areas. These events provide an opportunity for

Wine Tasting!
The Long Island Chapter gathered for their Annual Wine Tasting
and Dinner on Monday, May 17 at the Northport Yacht Club with

Graduating seniors gathered on Friday, May 7 for the Welcome
to the Alumni Association Clambake and at Graduation Rehersal

More than 500 students from approximately 25 states, 32 countries
and 55 of New York's counties were granted bachelor's, master's
and doctoral degrees at Clarkson University's Commencement
on Sunday, May 9, 2004.

Over 60 Alumni, guests and friends gathered for a pre-game
get together before the Manchester Monarchs game on Saturday,
March 20.

First Round ECAC Play-offs - Clarkson vs. Union
On Friday, March 5, 2004 Capital District alumni gathered
for a pre-game event in Schenectady to get excited for the
big game. Clarkson upset Union and will move on to face Cornell
during the weekend of March 12.

Colgate vs. Clarkson Pre-Game Event
On Friday, February 27, 2004 Central New York and Mohawk Valley
alumni gathered at the Merrill House on Colgate's campus to
enjoy a pre-game meal. Clarkson defeated the Red Raiders by
a score of 1-0.

Alumni Admission Session
Throughout the Spring of 2004 alumni gathered in Rochester,
Syracuse and Boston to learn how to help support Clarkson
in its admissions efforts. The sessions served as an excellent
opportunity to inform alumni of what Clarkson has to offer

16th Annual Hockey Telecast - Clarkson vs. RPI
On Saturday, February 7, 2004 alumni gathered at over 50 locations
across the United States to watch the Clarkson Golden Knights
face-off against the RPI Engineers. Hundreds of alumni were
able to watch the game on DirecTV with fellow alumni and friends.

Clarkson Celebrates Alcoa's Commitment to Clarkson
On Saturday, January 31, 2004 Tony Collins gathered with Alcoa
employees and Alumni at the Adirondack Lodge before the Clarkson
vs. Yale hockey game. The gathering was to celebrate the partnership
between Alcoa and Clarkson with special recognition to Lance
Fountaine '91, who will be transferring to Knoxville, TN.

Tony Collins to watch Clarkson defeat UVM in overtime on January
