If Driving
Via Albany, New York
Take Interstate 87 north to exit 23 (Warrensburg). Rt. 9 north about 3 miles to intersection with Rt. 28. Follow Rt. 28 to Indian Lake, then Blue Mtn. Lake to Tupper Lake. Pick up Rt. 3 west to Rt. 56 north to Potsdam. Proceed to Main St. intersection; turn left; go two blocks, cross two bridges (becomes Maple St.). At light, turn right then make immediate left to continue on Maple St. Entrance is ahead on left. Approximately 4 hours.

Via Burlington, Vermont
Take Interstate 89 north to exit 21 (Swanton). Rt. 78 west (which merges with Rt. 2) to Rouses Point. Follow Rt. 11 south via Malone to Potsdam. Follow Rt. 11S through village, over bypass Rt.. At four-way intersection, Rt. 11 is also Maple St. Continue straight through the light: campus entrance is on your left. Approximately 3 hours.

Via Lake Placid, New York
Take Rt. 86 through Saranac Lake to Rt. 3 south to Rt. 56 to Potsdam. Proceed to Main St. intersection. Turn left, go two blocks, cross two bridges (becomes Maple St.). At light, turn right, then make an immediate left to continue on Maple St. Entrance is ahead on left. Approximately 1.5 hours

Via Massena, New York
Take Rt. 56 to Potsdam. After the Potsdam Village limit sign, proceed four stop lights and turn right onto Rt. 11 (bypasses downtown with Mobil Station on the left and Stewart's on the right). Proceed throught the next four-way intersection, staying on Rt. 11 south. The campus main entrance is on your left at the top of the hill. Approximately 30 minutes.

Via Ogdensburg, New York
Take Rt. 37 to Rt. 68 south. In Canton, pick up Rt. 11 north to Potsdam. After entering the Potsdam Village limits, the main entrance is on your right beyond the outdoor tennis courts. Approximately 45 minutes.

Via Syracuse/Watertown, New York
Take Interstate 81 north to exit 48 (Rt. 342) north of Watertown. Take Rt., 342 east to junction with Rt. 11 north to Potsdam. After entering the Potsdam Village limits, the main entrance onto campus is on the right beyond the outdoor tennis courts. Approximately 3 hours.

Via Utica, New York
Take Rt. 12 north to Lowville to Watertown. Exit 48 onto Rt. 342 to junction with Rt. 11 north and follow to Potsdam. After entering the Potsdam Village limits, the main entrance onto campus is on the right beyond the outdoor tennis courts. Approximately 3 hours.

If Flying Into Area Airports
Massena, New York
After leaving airport, turn right onto N. Racquette Rd. which will become E. Hatfield St. At the four-way intersection, (Bob’s Bakery will be on the right/car dealership on your left) proceed through the light. After the intersection, E. Hatfield turns into W. Hatfield. Continue to intersection with Rt. 56 to Potsdam. After the Potsdam Village limit sign, proceed four stop lights and turn right onto Rt. 11 (bypasses downtown with Mobil Station on the left and Stewart's on the right). Proceed throught the next four-way intersection, staying on Rt. 11 south. The campus main entrance is on your left at the top of the hill. Approximately 30 minutes.

Montreal (Dorval Airport), Quebec, Canada
On leaving the airport, take Rt. 20 through Dorion to Cornwall. Once you enter the province of Ontario, Rt. 20 changes to Rt. 401. In Cornwall, take the third exit, which reads "Bridge to USA." After exiting Rt. 401, make a left turn and continue through the city of Cornwall, across two bridges, to US Customs. Take Rt. 37 through Massena, turn left onto Rt. 56 to Potsdam.

Ogdensburg, New York
From the airport, turn right onto Rt. 812. At junction with Rt. 37, turn right. Follow Rt. 37 to junction with Rt. 68, turn right. Once in Canton, Rt. 68 ends and becomes Rt. 11. Continue on Rt. 11 to Potsdam. The Clarkson main entrance is on right, beyond the tennis courts.

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Out of the airport, proceed east to Y in the road and take right to Upland Ave. Turn left onto Hunt Club Rd. Follow to intersection with Rt. 16, turn left and proceed for approx. 8 miles. At stop light for junction with Rt. 416, turn right: short distance to quick right loop to pick up I416. Take "Bridge to USA" exit at Prescott. Once across the border, turn right onto Rt. 37 to junction with Rt. 68, turn left. Proceed to Canton. At first light, Rt. 68 ends and becomes Rt. 11 to Potsdam. After entering the Potsdam Village limits, the main entrance to campus is on the right, beyond the tennis courts.

Potsdam, New York
The airport is located one mile east of Potsdam on Rt. 11B. The runway is asphalt and 3,700' by 60'. Instrument approaches and tie down spaces are available. NOTE: Only small private planes are permitted.

Syracuse, New York
Upon leaving Syracuse airport grounds, take exit 81N to Watertown and exit 48. Turn right onto Rt. 342 to junction with Rt. 11 to Potsdam. After entering the Potsdam Village limits, the main campus entrance is on the right, beyond the tennis courts.
